A Native New Yorker, born and raised in Harlem, Keisha is a product of the New York City school system. Keisha attended Fiorello Laguardia, High School of Music and Art, Baruch College where She studied Entertainment Law, at City College Keisha studied Mass Communications, and at SUNY Old Westbury She studied Business Marketing and Liberal Arts. Keisha's houses of worship are the Abyssinian Baptist Church, Atlah World Ministries and the Greater Allen Cathedral of New York.

Keisha developed an early interest in public service as an intern for Senator David A. Paterson, and served as Coordinator of the Shona Bailey Street renaming, Press Secretary for Hip Hop for CHHANGE, a movement to develope and educate voters and young people about the political process. Keisha has volunteered and worked with the Board of Education, Community Boards 9 and 10, Harlem Little League and several community based organiztions and Senior Citizens Centers.

Keisha's maiden voyage into electoral politics is accountability and responsibility, and is symbolic of an emerging new generation of political leadership popularly referred to as the Hip Hop generation. Keisha has been endorsed by Businesses, Community Leaders, Conservatives, Democrats, District Leaders, Independence and Republicans for Her passion for Our Harlem Community, and for Her platform of common- sense goals to make Harlem and New York City a better place for Our families and future.

Keisha's experience of previous campaigns for elective office has made Her realize the importance of focusing on issues and party building efforts directed to improving and strengthening the Republican Party infrastructure. Keisha has a deep committment and very concerned with, the development and growth of business community in Greater Harlem which will in turn provide jobs, to issues concerning affordable housing, affordable prescription drugs, arts and culture, family values, giving parents greater control over their children's education, smaller classroom sizes, improving the transportation infrastructure, women and youth issues and working with the community and the NYPD to protect the need of the residents.

Keisha has foresight and leadership to encourage all people in the village of Harlem. Keisha posses the unique ability and background in management and marketing that enables Her to attract diverse support, to unite cultures, economic goups and generations to work together for the same common goal, the development and security of Harlem. Keisha knows that in this fast paced era of changing technology, Our community and our youth must be equipped to compete in the markets worldwide.
