Young Woman's Political Council is an interfaith based not for profit partisan political action committee, (PAC) political activist, public advocacy group and Social Organization our leadership programs focus is developed to educating and mobilizing its members on key issues of importance in conjunction with Churches and Community Leaders, primarily and will lobby house and senate on issues.

YWPC is Co- Founded in 2001 by Keisha C. Morrisey and is headquartered in Harlem New York, born and conceived in the spirit of the strong legacy of leadership exemplified by Woman in the 19th and 20th century and contemporary elders of Harlem and New York City addressing an array of cultural economic political and social issues, Energy; alternative, fuel development, engineering and power grid update, Education, Family and Woman, Foreign policy, Homeland Security, infrastructure, International Affairs, Internet Music, Land use and Urban Development, Performing Arts and Culture, Recreation, Sports, Technology and Transportation and Youth.

Young Woman's Political Council is a separate entity not officially or legally with any organization, although its Founder is a member of and works closely with the Republican Party to generate, Get Out the Vote, identify and cultivate viable candidates for elective office, promote the relevance of the GOP, strengthen the Republican Party visibility and provide campaign volunteers and workers for GOTV and 72 hour taskforce. YWPC is creatively designed to formulate to assist in attracting new voters and recruits, bringing Woman, and Young adults in general and into the political process, developing grass roots initiatives, disseminating information, educating middle and high school students about citizenship and civics.

YWPC is designed to, conduct forums, polls, surveys, think tanks, public interest Study Groups, seminars and workshops, YWPC is formulating an organizational structure to focus on solution oriented initiatives in target areas including, Transitional Housing for inmates, job resources, services, technical assistance and facilities, and training. YWPC members are progressive and bring a powerful combination of business experience, a fresh perspective and political savvy performance and star power to the Village of Harlem. YWPC members cannot, accomplish these efforts without the generous financial and manpower support of our members and volunteers.

YWPC will create a newsletter to distribute to our membership, events/ fundraisers, participate in local and statewide campaigns and provide an office for campaigns. YWPC is an organization of concerned young people and prominent members of the creative community, united in the effort to develop and implement the message of individual rights, free market and limited government, lower taxes, our affiliations and associations are influential young professionals and members of the arts and entertainment industry, business- community, corporate America and professional world, students and youth.

YWPC membership in general is open to the community, and individuals of varying disciplines, our private screening sessions are through sponsorship by a member in good standing and are available by appointment, screenings are bi annual, the full membership does not meet in July August and September, the general meetings are held monthly, the general membership are welcome to participate in monthly public socials, participate in any one or more of the committees and holds voting privileges.

YWPC will open its doors Spring 2006 and will host and produce the annual YWPC awards honoring distinguished
Woman of the Year, past recipients have included, Dr Delois Blakely, Florence Rice, Honorable Libby Pataki, Honorable Gertrude Hess, Parker, Melba Moore, Queen Mother Moore, Reverend Leslie James, just to name a few, future award categories will include Leadership, Religion, Community Service, And Youth. YWPC members only social clubs, membership is VIP and will host YWPC- SSSundays,
